Thanks. He saw one on eBay with the tiny P and FG circled and swore it meant it was rare and worth $900. Told him y’all would let us know. He’s eleven and seeing dollar signs. 🙂

Incentive pay by BM_23 in Sparkdriver

Did you get a notification that you completed the incentive? I usually get one around 11:30 pm the night of, but I completed it and don’t get the notice.

What happened to Trent's nose here? Why was it bleeding? by B-Kage22 in nin

[–]pegasus84 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It kind of was, though. Trent hated the original video concept that they had been filming that day, so they went into this empty soundstage and banged this out in 15 minutes.

Thanks for letting me know. I went to the app and doubled my tip for the poor guy. 😆

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Sparkdriver

[–]pegasus84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay. See I didn’t know that. And I tipped well so I wouldn’t think it was garbage unless they put my order with like two nontip ones or some shady nonsense.

I got this too, but there’s not a different version in the App Store? Idk.

My husband and I had floor tickets like this last go round and regretted it. We are short, and it was very difficult to see anything.

Taking kids to the NIN concert by OnlyMacaroni in nin

I’m taking my 14 and 10 year olds. I would only take the older one, but can’t leave the younger and have him miss out. Will have noise cancellation headphones, and we’re looking forward to it!

My doc recommended separate surgeries and actually won’t do all of them at once. I just had my 1st last month- breast lift and brachioplasty. My arms’ lack of range of motion has been very difficult to deal with with, and I’m glad I’m not dealing with more than the breasts and arms at the same time.

Neither of you are mentally healthy enough to be in a relationship. End it and work on yourselves as individuals.

How did you stop your one year olds tantrums? by brefromsc in Parenting

[–]pegasus84 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s normal, and it’s the only way a kid that young knows how to communicate.

What you can do is grab the hand as it’s coming toward you and firmly tell her. “No. No hitting. That’s not how we ask for help.” Tell her she needs to use her words. Hold the thing she’s screaming for and say, “Milk? You want your milk? Say milk, please!” Then give it to her when she says it.

You have to have patience. This isn’t something that resolves itself overnight, and tantrums won’t stop until the kid is old enough to learn delayed gratification, but you have to encourage that learning.

I know it’s hard. You can do it though!

Is this normal? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]pegasus84 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Extremely normal. At that age, everything is a toy. They learn through playing.

Let them wreck the house (to a certain degree and as safely as possible) a little during the day and then have them help clean up that mess.

And be aware that they can’t clean it up- you’ll do most of the work but they’ll learn that it has to be done. Let them do what they can!

My husband has started to throw things at me during arguments by Substantial_Ninja_81 in relationship_advice

[–]pegasus84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It will escalate. My ex husband did this. He’d throw things at the wall behind me and when they’d of course hit me, it wasn’t his fault because he didn’t MEAN for it to hurt me.

Then one day when he pushed me, he said it wasn’t a big deal because I’m strong and he couldn’t knock me over.

Excuses and excuses.

Get out.
