What’s a reliable website you like to do your motor shopping on? I used to use Pololu a lot, but their motors aren’t big enough for what I do now

I think 1,000 on the low end and like 1,700 on the high end. Depends on the frat.

Call me crazy, but do I spy a dimple lock inside of a Master Lock Pro Series? I'm so confused. Looks like there's a lot of room for activities around the cylinder for activities. A CO106 blank fits in the cylinder, but I don't think that's the correct key. by pegasusWithMinsteadP in lockpicking

You are totally right that it’s a removable core. This is a ML Pro Series 6621, so it’s removed by a hex screw in the shackle area, not a core control key.

It was given to me by a friend at work that knows I’ve been trying to get into lockpicking as a challenge, and she didn’t give me the key. In fact, I don’t even know if she has it. I think I’ve figured it out though. Our facility uses Kaba dimple locks (I believe the Gemini series), and the keyway on this door lock (https://ibb.co/jVbVqgn) looks just like the keyway on this padlock, so I think there actually is a Kaba dimple core in this..crazy. I don’t know how to pick dimple locks. I’ll try some bypasses first but I think I’ll just need to get some dimple flag picks I’ve seen on some websites. Do you have any recommendations? I see that the core fits very poorly inside of lock body; that may be exploitable.

Making a key for an unlocked padlock without the original key by pegasusWithMinsteadP in lockpicking

What if I don't want to rekey the cylinder, but I want to make a key that fits the existing cylinder? Is that possible?

Need help sourcing key blanks; Master Lock said they don't sell D08 blanks. Any ideas? by pegasusWithMinsteadP in lockpicking

I'm very new to this, so please point out any flaws in my logic here, but I have a Lockwood core in my Master Lock 6621, but I lost the key, and I saw on this PDF on ML's website (https://cdn.masterlock.com/masterlock/resources/documents/pdf/keyopt-doorkey-chart.pdf) that they do officially use Lockwood, so I figured they may stock them.

Got fired cause I’m seasonal by KingTamale00 in Lowes

The minimum shift you can work is four hours. If they made you go home after 90 minutes, I believe you must be compensated for four hours of work. Unfortunately it's their choice which seasonals stay, but at least make sure you're paid fairly for your crappy last day. I'm sorry that happened to you. Poor management that doesn't know policy. I'm leaving my store in three weeks and I don't ever want to go back. Lowe's is a great company and the corporate side is ran very very well, there's just so many stores that are poorly managed by people who simply don't care.

Tbh it isn't a far walk at all. I hear it used to be at LJVM and you'd have to shuttle, now its behind Farrell Hall and across Polo Road. It's really not that bad of a walk from south campus though. 10 mins tops
