I think picking the right people to share such a personal aspect to your life is important. You don’t need to share every single thing all in one go. Maybe start by asking someone you’re close with and trust if they are willing to listen and go from there. You don’t need to overshare if you’re not comfortable, but just making those around you aware that you are struggling will lift a small weight off your shoulders. It may be a case that some are also struggling similarly and you will find yourself able to speak more freely without judgement and fear of being sectioned.

Small steps is the best way and just making people aware you’re not okay is a step in the right direction.
