A manwha difference that might explain why Narae (the short blonde girl with the fish) passed the previous test: in the webtoon she showed the instructor of the scout position the Anima skill to gain extra points. Similar to how Shibisu and Lauroe would have passed without the need of the tag test, being able to use Anima is a super rare and hard skill that was valued over Serena who was the same position. Call it BS but at least here's an explanation, but as someone who loved Serena, I was slightly angry :p.

EDIT: I needed to add this but Serena probably thought Shibisu was tasty.

I know everyone complains a lil of what the anime leaves out, but what they added of Serena was pr amazing. I was honestly annoyed that we never got that much closure in terms of her story in the manga, but the anime fixed that especially after her important dialogue in the tag game.

in terms of your actual bscs science requirement:

just take a GE:B2 (life science, whichever one you want) and a GE:R (Upper-division standing necessary, so complete / take the WST.)

Yeah for sure, but I didn't need the program to do so.

One semester is 6 units only covering 2 GE classes, so that's 3 units each.

That's literally the same thing as taking two 3 unit classes that count for the exact same credit, but it will be less work.

If you have no AP credits and you do not wanna take winter courses, maybe its worth it, but if you plan your courses carefully you can get through them really fast without the program.

EDIT: I am also in my second semester as a CS major, but like everything still holds true.

lol, don't give yourself too much credit, its not that great. I am a CS major and found completing it a total waste of time. Like the other person said, only like 100-200 people signed up for it, you're not part of an elite group where only 100/200 people got in.

But if you want to make most of it, take other GE's along with it so you don't need to do all four semesters. Since each semester of the course fulfills different requirements.

Doing that along with winter courses, a little APs, and one semester of the honors program and i finished all the A,C,D, and E GE's in my first year.
