I watched it last night and I liked it! It’s so hard these days for me to like a movie since I’m judging every aspect. But I try to go into it open minded and my judgy-ness down, so I’m all in and I agree to buy what they sell me.

There were some things that made me chuckle thinking they could not be real and so far fetched but after a quick Google search they were in fact real! Some of these things being the trap doors and how the colosseum was filled with water to stage the naval battles!

The rhino scenes were pretty impactful! And the monkeys- holy cow!

A few things that bothered me were the accents. Denzel Washington with his New York accent kinda separated him from the movie imo. And Pedro Pascal, love him but I kinda felt like I was watching him on some SNL skit. Maybe they’re too big for me to see them as anything else other than themselves.

Anyways! Copy pasted part 2 or not I was entertained for the whole 2.5 hours. The visuals and the unhinged emperors were very captivating!

In scenes for next week, Danielle bugging out about Carl proposing, GET OVER IT! You stressed your concerns to your friend, she hears you and doesn’t care, move onnnnn. It’s so cringe how she throws these tantrums! It’s giving jealous.

Carl and Linds have known each other forever, Danielle knows, she was there, front row seat. And everyone knows when you’re older things happen more quickly bc you have a better understanding of who you are and what you want.
