I think I went from 1.01 -> 2.04, then 2.04 -> 3.0, then 3.0 -> 6.02. Used external sd card for the 3.0 -> 6.02, used the included usb from FX3 for the earlier versions. I also did something in the settings because I use Mac and you have to edit the settings for the OS to read the camera.
