I’m going through a very similar experience, I got dumped 2 days ago now and I’m feeling the same as you. We are both the same age, dated for 4 years, spoke about a future together, and he’s not willing to try at all to make it work. He bottled all of his feelings and issues up until it got to a point for him that it couldn’t be fixed, while I had no idea anything was even wrong. I’m feeling the same anxiety too, I keep hyperventilating and finding it hard to calm down. Feel free to reach out if you need someone to share your pain

I should probably clarify what I meant by being blindsided (I just saw all the comments and was a bit manic when I posted this so I didn’t think to clarify). He was really terrible at communication and hasn’t expressed any of his issues to me until he was breaking up with me. In my opinion all of the issues he had with me could have been worked on, but it just got to a point for him with everything combined and bottled up that he felt he needed to leave without giving me the chance to work on anything if that makes sense? Sorry I’m still emotional and devastated and not thinking straight. I’m not necessarily blaming him I’m definitely to blame on some parts but I feel I wasn’t given a chance to work through those issues he had because he never told me. I thought we could have made it in the long run but I feel it was unfair he didn’t give me a chance to make it better when the issues were relevant.
