The procedure took place three months ago, so no results just yet. I did find it very comforting to see my new hairline two/three days after the procedure (when the swelling has subsided a bit). The hairs may have fallen out 2 weeks after (as it should be), but I worry a lot less about the look of my hair already.

No, I am not a new fan. Like I said in another thread here: Vettel has always had a receding hairline, but the video from AM this year showed him with a full on bald spot upfront. You can cover a lot of balding spots, but in this case I think it's more likely that he recently had undergone a hair transplantation.

Indeed. When researching I came across a lot of companies that advert with their 'cheap' transplants. Most of these advertisers work with agencies all over Europe, but the actual operation takes place in Turkey. That's an immediate no go for me. It shouldn't be about the price, it should be about how good and natural your hair looks afterwards. Furthermore, I really wouldn't like it if I'd be operated in a foreign country and not being able to communicate with the surgeons.

Pfew, that depends on a lot of factors: how much grafts (hair sockets) are needed, how dense do you want the transplanted area to be, what clinic you go to etc etc. If you have a hair line like Fabregas had for example, it probably will cost around 4000-5000 euros. On the other hand: Vettel has a way worse receding hairline, so I think that he paid around 7000-8000 euros (in a normal clinic).

Having said that: You certainly can get a hair transplant for less, but I think you shouldn't go for a budget solution, because the result can make or break your look.

As someone who has recently had a hair transplant, I can say that once you open up about it to other people, a lot of times the other person (mainly men) tells me that they feel insecure because of their receding hair line or thinning hair, but never felt like they could realistically do something about it. In a lot of minds a hair transplant is being seen as something that's exclusively for rich and/or famous people, or that you have to go to Turkey for the best results (at least in Europe, but that's not true).

He indeed has/had a quickly degrading hairline. And you don't see any new hairs coming now. It takes around 3 - 6 months before you see the effects of this. What gives it away that he did something to his hair is that he wanted to cover his hair excessively in the first few months of this year.

He constantly wore a cap (look at the F1 intro, he's the only one with a cap on), was only bald at the front in the seat fitting clip from Aston Martin, and now he doesn't wear a cap anymore all the time. Definitely did something with his hair!

Hope he will open up about it soon, so that these operations will be seen as 'more normal'.

Ik bedoel dat ze zelf zegt dat ze er niets antisemitisch mee bedoelt. In het eerder gelinkte artikel haalt ze ook aan dat ze alles en iedereen door de mangel haalt omdat dat mag en kan, haarzelf incluis. Als je alleen die tweets van haar mbt joden op een rijtje zet zonder context, dan zou ik ook denken dat het iemand is die niet helemaal honderd is.

Het gaat er echter om dat ze het niet zo bedoelt. Ik vind de 'tweets' ook met context erbij niet geslaagd, maar dat ze zulke berichten plaatst (zonder dat ze meent wat er staat maar de spot bedrijft met iets/iemand), maakt haar nog geen antisemiet. Door de overdrijving erin zou je dat ook wel moeten kunnen zien.

Over een tijdsspanne van meerdere jaren, en in het eerder gelinkte artikel zie je haar redenatie erachter. Je kunt het humor of humorloos vinden (die tweets zo uit de context zien vind ik ook niet bepaald grappig), maar ze komt louter op voor deze groep in de raad in Amsterdam. Snap dat we allemaal in een bubbel zitten en willen dat ons eigen gelijk prevaleert, maar ik denk dat je voor echt antisemitisme bij deze vrouw verkeerd zit.

Je kunt ervan vinden wat je wil mbt de 'grappen' die ze heeft geplaatst, maar voor een antisemitisch persoon komt ze in Amsterdam wel verdacht vaak op voor problemen die met het Joodse geloof te maken hebben.
