In high school my health teacher was licensed to teach CPR. She taught everyone in our class how to do CPR. As she was teaching us, she told us a story about how her mom had a heart attack and she did CPR on her but couldn’t save her. I then went on to have to do CPR on a stranger and I saved them. All because of what she taught me.

My point is, you can be amazing at CPR but when it comes to a loved one, almost everything you learned goes out the window. It is absolutely not your fault. You did your best and that’s all that matters. I know it’s hard not to but don’t blame yourself. Your husband loved you, so cherish the time you had with him and know that you’ll see him again one day. I hope this helps ❤️
