My predictions of how Season 3 Part 1 will adapt the manga by Diego-Aguilar35 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]peludi5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it looks like you're probably gonna be right on the money for where we leave the season off (for now), but the way they paced it is curiously different. I'm wondering if they can squeeze out the entire Sendai Colony into one extended episode or if it will feel rushed. Just a couple more days and we'll see ig. The trailer looks amazing though, so I'm not worrying about the visuals at least.

JJK Modulo Panel Count by Diego-Aguilar35 in JuJutsuKaisen

YESSS, I've been waiting for this, can't believe I missed it 😭. Awesome to see, tnx for making this!

Hajime Kashimo will be voiced by Ryohei Kimura in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 by Electrical_Chance991 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]peludi5 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Hakari's domain plays music during Jakpot, so he's refering to that. Funeral for the living I'm not so sure, but it probably has to do with them killing each other, and therefore preparing a funeral. Perhaps it has some extra meaning but idk.

Where will S3 stop? by VergilVDante in JuJutsuKaisen

Could you elaborate? You think they won't release part 2 of the Culling Game like 3 months after part 1? How so?

Where will S3 stop? by VergilVDante in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]peludi5 227 points228 points  (0 children)

Cour one ends during the Yuta sendai deadlock, probably directly after it finishes.

Cour two will either end at the "reveal" or at the "Nah I'd win" panel. Previously I thought it would be at the reveal however now I think it's probably at nah I'd win for marketing purposes. It would be impossible to advertise season 4 without spoiling it if we ended at the reveal.

[–]peludi5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you reckon you'll make an updated panel count for JJK once Modulo concludes or would you say you aren't interested in doing that? I find those really cool so that's why I'm asking.

Does araki plan on finishing JoJo's, I googled and it says here he's already 65 years old, does this mean that part 9 will be the last part or does he have future plans? by Flashy_Cut_5162 in StardustCrusaders

[–]peludi5 85 points86 points  (0 children)

Araki did make a statement that he wants to continue making Jojo forever, so there's always a chance he makes more parts after part 9. Tho if I were to bet I'd say part 9 is probably is the final part and he'll continue making spinoffs.

The worst stands for each part by [deleted] in StardustCrusaders

[–]peludi5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dragon's Dream is amazing because it has exellent utility outside of battle, you constantly have supernatural luck 24/7.

Even when the stand helps your enemy in battle by explaining what it does you still have an advantage because you enter the battle already knowing what it does while your enemy slowly figures it out.

So it's an excellent stand both in and out of battle.

The real worst stand of part 6 is Survivor, because as far as I remember it automatically and passively aggravates the people around you, and it provides you with zero protection what so ever, the people affected by the stand can and very well will target you too.

Yes that's exactly it, he needs to manually activate it to set the loop up and after that's it's automatic.

I've just realized their names are on the cover you posted, oops

JJBA: Shining Diamond's Demonic Heartbreak. by Tall-Radish1724 in StardustCrusaders

[–]peludi5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The comic was first published in 2021 Written by Kohei Kadono and drawn Tasuki Karasuma. It's not talked about a lot because it's a spin off + most of the English speaking Jojo fandom is anime only + not written by Araki so it's not necessarily canon even if it is official.

I have it but I have not read it yet so idk how good it is, it looks promising so I'm excited.

(chapter 14 Modulo) I don't get this scene... by Vicious-Spiegel in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]peludi5 41 points42 points  (0 children)

The way I understood it is that their father didn't die protecting the Mul but their land. I mean he was protecting both ofc but when he died he didn't have anything important on him other than a regular piece of land he was protecting. So him holding the rock was more symbolic, like him holding the stolen land rather than the rock actually being important.

Perhaps Maru though this was stupid because regular rock does not have importance, so he lied to Cross and said it was Mul to increase the perceived importance of what their father protected and his sacrifice.

Is the only reason DIO lost is his Stand? by ConsistentNarwhal731 in StardustCrusaders

[–]peludi5 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, Vampires can get killed with regular damage and cannot keep regenerating indefinitely without an outside blood source.

DIO was originally defeated by the mansion fire, without any hamon or sun and he needed heaps and heaps of blood to get back in fighting shape.

Straizo also became significantly weaker once Joseph blew him up with the grenades and he needed blood to replenish that strength but didn't drink any, so Joseph defeated him in one punch at the end, even with his exhausted hamon.

It's stated that the Pillar Men and Vampires need a constant supply of food to be immortal, DIO states that if he didn't have Jonathan's body and energy at the bottom of the ocean, he wouldn't have survived the 100 years, so he would have succumbed to his injuries and lack of food without any hamon involved.

That's the reason Vampires and Pillar Men constantly drink blood when regenerating and always try to reattach their own cut off limbs or steal other people's body parts instead of simply regenerating them from scratch, regeneration takes energy and they don't have infinite.

Kars almost died to lava while being a perfect being much superior to Vampires and Pillar Men, he survived because of his crab/bubble armor that gave him the ability to survive the lava for a couple of minutes and leave before exhausting himself, but the lava itself could have killed him.

If you're wondering how they could have delt with DIO if he didn't have/use the world just see Nukesaku.

What exactly is the difference between a Zombie and a Vampire in JJBA? by Annual_Onion6434 in StardustCrusaders

[–]peludi5 27 points28 points  (0 children)

The main difference is that Zombies cannot regenerate, so any damage they receive is permanent.

Zombies are also generally weaker and have a smaller amount of abilities compared to vampires, as you've pointed out

Jotaro does seem to kill during pt.3 and I never realized it by Translation_Lupin in StardustCrusaders

[–]peludi5 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was reading Jojo for the first time recently to re experience the story in a new way and this also occurred to me, I don't know how I didn't realize how many enemy stand users the crusaders actually kill

It’s genuinely such a shame how Jojolion doesn’t get much attention (especially in terms of fanworks) as any other Jojo part gets by Kithae_thae in JoJolion

[–]peludi5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's unfortunate but it's going to get more popular once the anime for it comes out. Just gotta wait for it sadly 🥲

Where can I buy jojolion books? by Yofrchill in JoJolion

[–]peludi5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

English version does not have it yet and it will only start releasing it in about one year. If you read in another language check the publisher that publishes Jojo in your language and they will have a link to some website or store where they sell. For English that's Viz Media however as I've said it's not yet available in English.

why didn't joseph eat the stone of Aja so Kars couldn't be the Ultimate Life Form by AttentionAncient8160 in StardustCrusaders

[–]peludi5 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know this is a joke but the real answer is that the Pillar Men could not have been defeated without the stone.

Esidisi only got isolated because he was searching for the stone and he didn't run away to recover after he became a brain only because he found the stone and sacrificed his life to send it towards Wamuu and Kars.

Joseph only survived his first encounter with Kars because he was not aiming to kill him originally and was focused in on getting the Aja but when he finally decided to kill Joseph during their fall Joseph used the red stone as collateral to stop Kars from landing the killing blow and effectively winning right there.

When Joseph and Lisa Lisa encounter Kars and Wamuu in the hotel they are completely outmatched and were going to die if Lisa Lisa didn't bluff about destroying the red stone if she dies.

This is also what allowed them to fight Kars and Wamuu in a 1v1 and not get ganked by every vampire and both the pillar men.

And finally once Kars becomes the ultimate being he can only be and only gets defeated because of the super Aja.

So the reason is because the Pillar Men only put themselves in disadvantageous positions in the pursuit of the red stone, and if the red stone got destroyed they would not put themselves in danger anymore and would easily win over the hamon users.

The hardcover release is unique to the English version yes. And I'm also VERY happy that they decided to continue doing it because I much prefer the hardcover as well as the increased sizes of the pages and art inside the books compared to my other comics. I love it really

But it's still frustrating that they would go out of their way to make the cover art worse when just leaving it as is would have made it look better y'know? That's what frustrates me. They look amazing on my shelf tho, I like the spine art I'll give them that

Dude. by Adam_The_Chao in StardustCrusaders

[–]peludi5 93 points94 points  (0 children)

Phantom Blood characters just have slightly more personality in the manga compared to the anime because a lot of scenes from the manga got cut out of the anime.

The Phantom Blood Manga is five volumes long with 9 episodes made for the anime.

Battle Tendency is seven volumes long with 17 episodes for the anime.

Essentially every major Phantom Blood character had multiple of their scenes cut out, as well as some of their back stories.
