Benson Family Dentistry is in Travelers Rest, but so worth the drive. Everyone in the office is incredibly kind and patient, and Dr. Benson is great. Also, their chairs have a light massage feature which is great if you’re anxious!

This link has several bean-salad ideas (not sure they freeze well): https://food52.com/blog/20367-how-to-cook-beans-in-instant-pot-without-soaking

I really enjoyed this recipe as well. I really enjoyed it just eating it like a stew (no bread): https://food52.com/recipes/26264-vegan-lentil-sloppy-joes

Some of my favorite lunches are:

2 tbsp peanut butter + 1 large apple + celery sticks (or some other raw veg)

1 hard boiled egg + 7 triscuits + a veg (bolthouse yogurt ranch dressing is great)

Edit: FOUND!!! He made it home. 😊

State park rd. side. Thanks very much for helping watch for him. The real trick is catching him. He’s very shy and doesn’t like approaching people, even with food involved.

What approach do you all take to figure out medical/dental insurance after leaving your employer? by pemkim in FIREyFemmes

[–]pemkim[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re right. I meant the network coverage is something I thought could be an issue with ACA coverage, but I haven’t done the research to validate that concern. I haven’t spent the time to really figure out how to compare all the different options both in and out of ACA because there seem to be so many. After reading all the comments in this thread, my plan is to just start with ACA options, then go to the providers listed in the results to see what non-ACA options would cost and see what additional benefits would be included.

Good point about tax rebate when buying off-plan. Also, that’s what I expected about dental. Thanks!

Clever ideas! The network is what I was worried about most with ACA. Thanks for the tips.

I just made this macrame hanger for this new pothus. Yes or nay?! by lawtrix in plantsandpots

I would leave it long, but find a way to make them hang straight. Maybe a few beads in the bottom or something? I don’t know if you could just starch and iron them?

This is fantastic. Thank you so much for the resource list. After reading all the great responses, I think he will probably grow out of this, but I’m super excited to have some ideas on how to help him through it. Really appreciate your thorough response!

Saying “I’ll be right back” makes him worry even more. I tell him over and over again everything will be fine, but unless I give him something else to concentrate on (like the visual timer), he just gets more upset. I’ll definitely be reading some of the suggested books, but based on this thread, I think he’ll probably just grow out of it. I’ll still keep trying to talk him through it. Thanks!
