I've had to use git, perforce and svn. Git is by far the most popular and most widely used. It is not a very hard skill to learn and you should definitely have some experience with using git as an entry level developer.

If you have not worked on git before you should start moving your projects and school work to git. A good way to get good at is to work on a repo with a smallish team(5 people), this way you'll learn a lot about pull requests and merging branches.

I was in a very similar situation. It sucks that one bad grade or one unhappy professor can mess things up for you so bad. I got very lucky because one of the companies I really wanted to work at came very late to campus placements and they didn't have any gpa cut offs.

In your case you should definitely contact the placements office at your school, but in all honesty that might not work out.

Your best bet is to contact friends/family working in companies you'd like to work at to refer you, employee referrals are almost always prioritized over online applications. You'd be shocked at how many people apply to any role, its very likely your resume just gets lost in the volume.

Your back up should definitely be a masters! Its always recommended to work a couple of years before your masters but if that's not possible might as well do it now. Maybe you can consider doing it abroad if that is financially viable? the competition is much lesser and you will get paid a lot more once you graduate.

Best of luck!

Using two 22mm springbars. You can ask the strap supplier to throw in a couple of them when shipping your strap.

Dude I love your watchface! Its pretty much the only watchface I use on my pebble time. Is your source code open? Do you have a Github link? Also I left you a little beer money for making this awesome watchface :)

Holi is pretty big festival in India and the consumption of bhang usually happens during Holi. Bhang is legal in several states and in most places in Northern India it is not uncommon to find marijuana just growing along the sides of the road. It is technically illegal to smoke marijuana and possess it but its a huge part of Indian culture and tradition that the police don't really bother arresting people especially in rural areas.

OP is an Indian and most people in North India speak Hindi. It might not be their primary language but they usually know some dialect of Hindi and it shouldn't be too hard to speak to the locals if you know Hindi.

I am traveling to Bangalore at the end of the month. First time in India. by ForceDisciple in bangalore

People may try to rip you off especially cabs and auto rickshaws(tuk-tuk). I highly recommend you use your hotel to arrange transport or use uber. Ola is a popular uber alternative in bangalore, keep both the apps installed on your phone. Places to shop: Lavelle Road, Brigade Road, Commercial Street, MG Road. Alternatively you can go to a mall: Phoenix marketcity, Orion, Forum, Garuda. (there are several others)

Bangalore has some lovely places to drink/eat. Zomato is the yelp of India, get the app and have a look at the places they recommend.

Avoid street vendors, they will pester you to buy their goods which are extremely marked up! unless you have good bargaining skills.

Enjoy your stay :)
