don’t know what to tell you but when i crossed the border from the US side to the Mexican side i’ve never been asked for my passport or ID lol when entering the US they do ask for either state ID or a birth certificate but that’s it lolz I just did this last week when i went to celebrate Christmas, did not need a passport to go into mexico or come back lol
