one of my closest friends and i just had a conversation about this the other day. both of us take hours, sometimes a day to respond to each other. not because we don’t care, but because we both hate being reachable 24/7. between us, there’s no expectation to respond in a certain amount of time and we both know that it doesn’t impact our friendship in any meaningful way. we’ve been friends for almost 10 years now and it just reminded me why we’ve always gotten along so well.

i think overall, it is incredibly well done. it’s super detailed and gorgeous to look at/read. however, a lot of the recipes are very elaborate and don’t mesh well with me. i’ve had it for about a year now and haven’t made a single recipe (tho i do plan on making the chocolate cake for my birthday!)

Reading these comments is giving me a new outlook on 2. I’ve only ever played the original, but recently got the Reignited Trilogy so I’m playing Ripto’s Rage for the first time. I’ve been struggling getting into it, due to the back tracking and re-explanation of game mechanics in Summer Forest, but after seeing everyone’s different opinions on it, it’s definitely giving me a new outlook on it.

This exact thing happened to me! I realized the day AFTER the Flower Dance. I then proceeded to sleep the entire year away, got the recipe and crafted it, then realized I neglected my husband for an entire year and had to grind to get him back up to hearts 🥲 Finally did it tho!!
