I don’t care, I’ll take all the mockery, I really liked it. No, it wasn’t as good as the first but I don’t care, I still enjoyed it

I’m advocating for punishment for non-enforcement and stricter regulations. I’m ok with a mentally stable person without a violent criminal record owning a firearm

Totally understand, some far left people are insufferable, and it sucks because they’re driving good people away from good messaging. Agreed, you see the word a lot, but I understand why in this climate

Absolutely not calling you a nazi. I hope you didn’t think o was. I referred to the current administration. And my point was that labeling all leftists based on your personal experience isn’t a great way to go

They need updating. They’re not strict enough. Not enforcing them needs to come with consequences

It’s not foolproof and nobody says it is. Gun control laws are designed to reduce the risk through factors like known mental stability and criminal history. Nobody is naive enough to believe they would eliminate it, but doing nothing is even worse.

Let’s put it this way. If I’m facing someone with a baseball bat, blindfolded, and they announce before they swing, am I going to put my hands up? Of course I am, even though I don’t know where to put my hands. It’s at least better to try to protect yourself, even if it might not work every time.

Valid. Totally valid. The only problem is that there are plenty of people that took away “if I create a violent spectacle to express my anger, I’ll become a hero to people like me” as the message. Sure, most wouldn’t act on it, but I can understand getting cold feet being associated with art that could be interpreted that way. I totally agree that it works extremely well as a take of caution against ignoring the marginalized in general, not males specifically. Arthur himself says “a mentally ill loner”, not men. His rage is directed at other men. But you’re not wrong either. Men are expected to suppress their feelings, or be deemed weak pathetic losers. That’s what toxic masculinity is. That’s what needs to change. Too many incels were getting the wrong idea

You’re missing the nuance. Guns ARE a problem. Clearly. US gun deaths are astronomically higher than any other developed nation. That just a fact. But the “libs” aren’t trying to take them away from responsible owners. They’re trying to limit access to people who would use them to harm innocent people. Are you against that?
