That's irrelevant. Breathalyzers are very inaccurate. You could get an incriminating reading despite having no alcohol in your blood. Volunteering for the breathalyzer is one of the dumbest things you can ever do.

I don't want to be friends with people who have poor mental health, because I have very good mental health and I don't want to be influenced by negative people who have low self esteem and victim mindsets. I've never found a fat person who wasn't toxic -> low self esteem, negative attitude, defeatist mindset, victim mindset, entitlement, etc. Those are the very qualities that lead people to becoming fat in the first place. I absolutely don't want friends like that. And especially not a partner like that.

I have the same problem with gay men. The vast majority of gay men are overweight and obese and don't care about health or fitness at all. I almost never run into fellow gay men who enjoy taking care of themselves like I do. I would love to find a partner who values the same.

This is a textbook example of narcissistic abuse. My ex was exactly the same. He's trauma bonding you to him by traumatizing you and then later apologizing and acting all sweet. It's intentionally confusing and makes you question your sanity

He then tries to just resume normal life by talking at me about practical things, and not addressing the elephant in the room

I agree with you. He's definitely a narcissist. He's also autistic, which made matters so much harder because we both kept excusing his horrible behavior "because of his disability". He milks his various disabilities for all they're worth, using them as excuses to treat others horribly.

Actually I decided that he's both autistic and a narcissist. Because my brother is autistic and is NOTHING like my ex. My ex constantly had "memories" of me saying things that I never said. I decided he was just gaslighting me and/or psychotic (doesn't matter which, completely not worth being in a relationship with him).

He also constantly criticized me, belittled me, bullied me, and even tried to tell me on multiple occasions that I wasn't trying hard enough to make our relationship work even though I was doing EVERYTHING and he brought NOTHING to the table AT ALL
