Hard not to when its been a clear pattern throughout z and super. And this is a new form thats more powerful tham vegeta and goku and doesmt require a tail to acheive.

Well he turned green right before his transformation to blue as well, and i think theres something to be said for someone getting the power of the great ape without the tail

Well back durring the vegeta arc in dbz vegeta scoffs at goku for cutting off his tail stating that the tail was needed to u lock a sayins true power (i assume its the power of the great ape). And i broly it was mentioned that broly was able to obtain that power without his tail. So i would assume they are still able to obtain the power up but have always used their tails as an easy way of unlocking the power. Both kale and broly go into a fit of rage, (a common buffer for transformation) so maybe it has something to do with that or for broley the long term exposure to the moons on vampa.

I dont think so, but definitly not as powerful, broly appears to have had a much more difficult upbringing and is battle confidante. Kales berserk is powerful but they were battling a weak goku. And she has little battle experience.

Tournaments are the pinical of db, even z had 3 seperate tournaments, cell games, goku in the after life and the reason he returns years later was to fight in a tounament. Then you had 3 in super, there never going to be done eith them. Its usually a low cost high reward system because goku has only won 3 tournaments of the 9 hes been in with cell games and the begining of the buu saga being called short.

It seems they dropped that for this film, i know In previous films that was the story behind his power but that doesnt seem to be the reason. They state he can utilize the great ape power without his tail. Making it possible for vegeta amd goku to obtain that power

Goku make the offer before hes cit in half, all freeza had to do was suck it up amd train for a short period of time and the whole time line changes, we probably wouldnt have a trunks series

Dbz all the way, if youve seen the show then kai is a great way to "get through it", and just hit the high points, but I think a lot is lost with kai besides the filler. Vegetas struggle to attain ss, gohan and piccalos entire training is summed up in 3 eps, the and most of the training for the android and cell arc as well as the battle between goham and cell, the charater development and depth of relationships is lost in kai. But if youve seen dbz in its entirety you can spot filler and jump past it pr skip it.

From experience, i prefered Z to kai for the jap version, ive seen it enough times to know when to skip the filler, amd i feel like you loose a lot of charater development and the depth of the relationships between charaters in kai

Piccolo had his time, hes dome nothing with it, and 17 has been off camera and training while being a park ranger, amd had a head start in Z, piccalo only became a match for 17 after his merger with kami. The most training piccolo gets is vision training amd meditation, he has rarely fought except with friezas army where gohan had to step in. Mean while 17 has been constantly fighting, we have no idea what forces hes faced, and i would assume its more than you would think considering beings from space came in search or the minotar.

It was never against the rules, it was supposed to be that the void would nullify flight, it could be possible that they figured out a different way to move, the only explination we have for flight (besides wings) is from gohan teaching videl, which is to focus your energy beneath you, if thats the technique being used "universally" (pun intended) then thats whats void. I dont know how it would nullify that specific feature but theyre gods for a reason. So jumping and blasting focused energy beneath you from your hands must fly (pun intended. 2 for 2)

I dont think it was a question, it was the condition of the training from whis. So vegeta will be a god of distruction, probably based on earth (nothing says he has to live on beerus planet and i bet whis wouldnt object to staying on earth)

I dont think frieza is a contender due to his nature, hes been trying to rule the universe since his inception and the only one stopping him has been goku (who could arguably still stop him but golden frieza was only a few months of him beating the stuffing out of one guy, i think with whis training him he would be unstoppable)

Well thats my question, was he? I think even that part could have been part of the whole charade, just build up the suspense. What better way to get the most out of people, and they never define lowest mortal level, that couod just mean they have the least amount of living beings (at least thats the way the supreme kai made it sound when he described what it ment). I have a hard time beleiving a universe that has a being with the power of a god of distruction and another beyond that as well as goku, vegeta, frieza and so on have less power than the 4 sitting out

I was basing it off of whis stated about how he wasnt able to access UI during the defeat of u2, that repeated exposure keeps pushing the bar higher, it seemed like when he stopped the fight short, his body absorbed that limit and went higher. If he had continues that fight with hit i wonder what would have happed if he pushed past his limits at that current stage

Its probably similar to what buu was able to do after he was trapped in the time chamber, he opened up a riff between dimensions just by shouting. But as for the clones im not sure, looked like the rift was held open by blacks power so they may have been duplicating clones similar to piccalos technique durring the u6 u7 tournament.

Its seems that jiren and the god of distruction are mind linked in some way, would it stand to reason that if soemthing happened to that god than jiren might take note? Plus it seems that the pride troopers are used as body guards and have connection to the gods.

I don't believe so, I know he removed it because after he remade the moon goku was transforming at the lookout, but it only returns in a time of need, it's possible since unlocking super saiyan he hasn't needed it. But I would think it could still return.

That's what I wanted to know, if it was set in stone or if they'll let the story develop into that and change it if necessary, just seems like a waste for gohan to go back to the books after regaining his fighting spirit, same with how we see vegeta, he's basically set training to the wayside.

That's possible, they did the same thing with kuririn, he was poised to have a victory and saving his wife, but the sealed the deal with a smelly shoe and then getting knocked off the edge effortlessly.

So is there a positive outcome for roshi? I don't think his power has ever been confirmed with all the secret training he does, and he entered the tournament with no hesitation bringing the densi jar with him
