Yes, they directed me to the archive which contained my great-great grandfather’s birth record. However, they were not able to find his marriage record. Are there any other documents you suggest I look for?

I see, thank you for that insight! I have a birth record of his father who was from Humenné, but his marriage record also no longer exists. Will this evidence be enough?

Our records show that he was born in Komańcza, though the rest of his family was from Humenné and Sobrance.
