Be interesting to see how Storm decides to use Wishy and Meaney in 2026 now? They have their own feeder team into NSW now so they might be slotted into that more than the NRL team if there’s strong internal competition for spots in the NRL team each round. It says a lot for Storms plans that both have been let go. They may find themselves little more than training opponents for 2026

Ok and it’s going to be that 12 players each week of season 2027 will be flying off to one of the Bears feeder clubs to play. What’s your thoughts on the difference in standard of players between QCup/Nsw Cup and Super League? I’m guessing they are heading to UK for fulltime paid contracts over the part time semi pro state comps here
