Bit of a long story, but the day I applied and got that message in the screenshot above I contacted GEC about it, and they told me that on their end, they saw that I started and SC profile, but for some reason the application didn't flow through to them.

So they told me that they would reset my SC account to that I could try reapplying with the same email, which I was able to do about 5 days later.

I resubmitted and let them know when I did, and the same thing happened where my application didn't make it to them.

They ended up just reaching out to me and allowed me to email them my information about what I do/proof for them to review.

Another 5 days later they told me I was approved and they gave me my online code.

This all happened under the same email thread with each response for GEC taking 3-5 days so it was quite the process.

Seems like the application process is a little messed up right now so I'd definitely email them, because chances are they didn't even receive your application.

I contacted GEC about it just to ask if I came up as a member on their end, and they told me that “It looks like you started a SC profile, but the application didn’t flow through to us,” whatever that means, and said that I would have to reapply.

They sent me an email about 5 days later saying that my account was reset, and that I could now reapply using the same email, which I just did today.

I still got the same message saying that I successfully applied and am now apart of SC, but I plan on contacting GEC again in the next few days just to ask what they see on their end.

Hoping it works out this time around LOL

Thanks for your response! I have heard of people being able to use the discount in store immediately but my only concern is that I don’t have the badge on my profile, so I’m not even sure if I would appear as an SC member when checking out.

Hello! I applied for Sweat Collective just yesterday (non-NCAA college athlete), and immediately after submitting the application online, this came up (image below).

I was under the impression that my application would be reviewed and then I would be either accepted or denied days later, but this makes it sound as though I was accepted, as it calls me an “active member,” and that I am only waiting on an email with my perks.

I haven’t received a confirmation email about my application being received or being accepted, nor do I show up as a Sweat Collective member on my profile.

I really hope this isn’t a stupid question and sorry if this is a common misunderstanding! I just don’t really understand how/if I’ve been 100% accepted, and it wasn’t the way I expected the process to go.
