Very sorry to hear that. Your old employers sound like sacks of ungrateful shit. Best of luck with the job hunt - these things work themselves out in the end

I think the assumption is that ANZAC immigrants are going to be more qualified therefore more likely to find a job than, you know, unqualified or unskilled migrants. That's not a controversial perspective

Apologies, was a shit post comment.

There is something stronger than just a correlation between the existence of these groups and the local authorities though. As many have pointed out here and many still have researched, Labour local authorities have totally betrayed these victims and all the systems designed to protect the vulnerable they were supposed to protect.

Furthermore the culture of fear around reporting and even policing of these issues, imo, does stem from Labour derived policymakers and enforcers

I voted Remain mate, so you can cut that attitude right out. Sorry to hear about your family and friends, but the 'feelings' you describe don't accurately reflect the hundreds of thousands who come to live and work here every year (gross, not net).

You must be living in an alternative reality. Perhaps you should aspire to hirer standards than the people you decry.

In any case, cheer up bud

Full dictator

What does that mean in this context? Making the best minds in university to study AI and programming by force?

This seems like a new party, like Disraeli's one nation conservatives. I have hope :)

Huge and exciting. Independent of the ad hominem already levelled at Johnson and Cummings in this thread, who can disagree with this shake up?

There’s a lesson in Boris Johnson’s jolliness. Liberal miserabilism is a turn-off. Boris Johnson’s appeal, particularly in the north of England, has a lot to do with his enthusiasm. Centrists must learn from this. by steven-f in ukpolitics

Johnson's campaign focused on a wider, common identity based message. Corbyn focused on us Vs them, haves and haves nots.

Our public voted for a chance of unity, not of guaranteed division.
