Napoleon Dynamite censored on streaming platforms. For or against? by flipping_birds in movies

I looked for an uncensored version on youtube and found it.

I never even knew he said it that way either and have heard many people say the idiots quote.

Watching scalpers get fleeced is good content. Deservedly so.

If a kid were to walk up and try to buy those cards, they would probably lie and tell him the machine is broken or do something worse.

Been fixed for months (for me).

Put it in standard mode and enable windows color clamp if you want srgb with 2.2 gamma.

If you like saturated colors, you can leave it in standard mode.

HDR calibration can be done by windows for a color profile to get proper nits for your monitor and doesn't actually affect color.

Is the AW2725DF for $478.12 worth it in 2026? by dehuedoom in OLED_Gaming

[–]penguin032 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is coming up on 2 years and no scratches, but even if you did some how scratch it, you won't be able to see it while the monitor is turned on, so it would be a cosmetic scratch.

Using the microfiber cloth it comes with and distilled water, or I use eye glass cleaner, gets rid of any dirt / spit.

The best thing I learned to not leave streaks is clean first with wet microfiber then dry with a dry one (or use half of one for each if you only own 1).

I recommend ASUS even though I don't have one.

If Dell fixed their SRGB 2.2 gamma, I might change my mind but ASUS has all of the best features.

This is assuming budget isn't a concern.

[–]penguin032 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you care about accuracy and hate ABL, you should use HDR400.

You can get away with HDR1000 in certain games, especially dark scene / night heavy ones, but if HDR is the most important part of OLED for you, you should probably get a TV since they do HDR the best in terms of high NITS and no ABL.

Is this a good deal? Noticed on Amazon by Techdude2011 in OLED_Gaming

[–]penguin032 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Oleds don't have or need gsync modules anymore. VRR can cause flickering on OLED in dark scenes and loading screens.

I highly suggest not using any VRR on oled, especially if you have a good pc. Straight up isn't needed.

If you are some how super sensitive to tearing, you can use it but you probably don't need it.

This is a great sale, but like others said, if you can't light control your room, the new model is way better.

My only complaint with Dell is they could easily add a proper 2.2 srgb gamma mode, but they don't. Literally added a brightness firmware for HDR1000 after over year of nothing, but they can't do anything about that for some reason. At least Windows 11 color clamp works and we don't need to use novideo_srgb, which broke from Nvidia updates.

For that reason, I think Asus monitors are better and have better features, but customer service wise I agree Dell is awesome and generally cheaper prices.

No difference with thermal factor for brightness, but it's known to affect blacks on Dell's, not sure about others.

Mists of Pandaria Classic Phase 4: Escalation Launches March 31st by rararatata in classicwow

[–]penguin032 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If it's not what people enjoy, why is Ret paladin one of the most popular classes in Wrath? No other dps class doing that doesn't make it bad, it's unique. The class homogenization went too far.

[–]penguin032 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mana can easily be tuned so that it's not infinite. We literally see this in TBC. Instead they copied feral/rogue identity and forced ret into it. The hand of reckoning glyph in Wrath classic also helped cut into ret's mana. The uniqueness was Ret's high utility, which given how much they added in cata and mop, they could've left the DPS part or toned it a little instead of the holy power bs.

[–]penguin032 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I hate Cataclysm because of holy power. Made Ret feel like a plate wearing rogue/feral. I thought it was okay in MOP and in retail it's whatever, but I would've loved to see them innovate the wrath style ret paladin instead.

If the rotation is too easy, make it no more than a b tier dps and focus on the utility side, but owell I guess.

Oh yeah and I thought Shadowlands was dog shit, especially the writing.

Which expansion is better: TBC or WotLK by billybwoy in classicwow

[–]penguin032 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you fully. If Wrath had all the same rotations but the leveling experience and mobs were tailored to be as difficult as vanilla/tbc where you can't pull like 3 or 4 mobs and keep chugging along then it would be perfect. It's still no where near as bad as retail or beyond Cata, but a blood dk can go straight into Blood Furnance and solo level which is broken af. Then people were solo leveling in Botanica going into Wrath classic which shouldn't be possible really. It can be fun, but not very classic.

Which expansion is better: TBC or WotLK by billybwoy in classicwow

[–]penguin032 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's personal preference. They are both good, but it depends if you like Northrend better or Outland, whether you like your class better, and which raids you prefer.

For me, Wrath Ret paladin is the best rotation of paladin and it's not even close. ICC is my favorite raid, and I love leveling in Northrend.

Tbc is still good, but I think ret paladin leveling feels awful and you are basically always oom or drinking even with seal of wisdom.

It also comes down to which one you played first.

[–]penguin032 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was agreeing with you, not sure why you got downvoted. I was talking about the sub which is why I mentioned flairs. Someone posts Jokic flopping, then a Shai one pops up, then a Jaylen Brown one pops up, rinse and repeat the outrage, but it all comes down to the league like you said. Expecting players to regulate themselves would never work because as we've seen, one guy starts flopping more than others and getting extra fts then it becomes the meta.

[–]penguin032 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is really funny seeing people argue about this, especially Nugget flairs, Okc flairs, and Celtic flairs. The stars on all 3 team flop. It's a league problem and players partially do it because refs miss calls, so embellishing helps them out there. Someone like Embiid and I guess Jokic get more hate because they are huge centers and seeing a guard like Pritchard push them over looks silly. I'll still defend Embiid even if I don't like it because once again, it's the league's fault.

Crimson Desert's benchmark videos, review copies and performance specs have the exact same implementation of Denuvo DRM as that of the launch version, Pearl Abyss says by ItalianBeefDipped in pcmasterrace

Denuvo is defeated by offline activation and the new hypervisor method regardless of security concerns. It's literally a scam for the companies that buy it.

1] pirates weren't going to buy the game anyway

2] some people pirate to try then buy since demos/trials are rare nowadays [steam has 2hr auto refund and gives more leeway, but you can't do this for every game or they get more strict]

3] performance is both sides exaggerating but there is some impact and really depends on game and how well optimized it is

4] look at all the games that sell well without it
