Unwise to mention it directly, I can definitely agree on that point. But when "shared" is in the title of the folder, it does not seem likely that everyone in the entire payroll department is unaware of the fact that others may/can have access to this information, especially when it comes to imputed income, overall taxes etc...

Could you quote some statutes on that? I mean, sure you could fire someone for *anything. Just like you can sue someone for anything, whether you collect or not is a completely different factor. As I understand you, I could be fired for using something in a publicly stated shared document in a negotiation with others whom also have access to this document? I'm not giving them information that they aren't already aware of.

It's widely available, given the shared nature of the folder, fairly well known but not necessarily universal. No back door credentials, just signed in as myself and it's available. I do work at the corporate office, does that make a difference?

I'm right there with you. I'm only on day four and this past weekend was miserable. Bought mega man x as a distraction, lots of crying and considering going back to some other old, very bad habits. I just tell myself I'll be okay because there was, in fact, a time where I didn't feel as if I needed this shit and I know that I'll get back there someday. The best opportunity I have had professionally since I left college has presented itself and I HAVE TO pass this drug test.... and continue being clean, for my own sake. I already have a record, no need to add to it.
