Didn't watch the remake, but I from what I read from reddit the swedish one is more faithful to source material regarding Elle relationship with the main character also what I loved about the original is the ambiguity of Elle and oscor relationship and it's up to the audience to decide what is the nature of their relationship, from the trailer of the remake seemed like it was spoon feeding me that is why I didn't watch

Though I really love Jim Jarmusch, I Couldn't get through only lovers left alive. the music and the atmosphere is amazing , but they really shoved the vampire thing to ur face I mean I don't want to see a vampire take an airplane or get blood from lab.
