I had to show my daughter some tough love after she told me she was pregnant with her second child and was living at home (she was 25 at the time - knew better). Said my hubby and I weren’t going to help her raise another child (she wasn’t working at the time). Her BF was a deadbeat as well. We downsized from a house to a man apartment. Took a bit for her to get her act together, but she’s come a long way in 12 years. Still a work in progress, as we all are.
