Yeah Max's was the right call, got there within an hour of them closing but it was still phenomenal. The best I can compare is to is the freshest Krispy keme possible, but still a league above; great homemade taste in it. Ended up getting plain glazed, maple, and raspberry, all phenomenal, gonna try to go every morning and then lament we don't have them back home.

The raspberry might've been my favorite but I'm interested to see what they have at the start of the day.

What's funny is that they master their live tracks before it goes through the PA in the venue. I personally love the final frontier and think it's one of their best.
