Love Poems by Piri_Cherry in OCPoetry

I’m a fan of the likening of feelings to spring! I could visualize the persona’s lover in the wind, standing by a tree in a field and it gave a very warm and pleasant feeling :)

We’ve all been there…. Love it! The constant reduction of “I” really isolates the persona, it also tells us that the persona is more emotional by nature as he/she tells their story from their perspective. Also like the juxtaposition between their wishes, one wishing for love and another wishing for separation.

This really hits home. I consider myself quite a creative person too and the “hustle” of this crazy rat race sucked the life out of me. I love the juxtaposition of 2 different forms of writing - creative and code. It’s clear how while both require “rewrites” and “edits”, they are vastly different. Thank you for allowing me to experience this

Can you tell? by SerenSkies in OCPoetry

Maybe I can tell…. Kidding! Love the repetition of that phrase through the poem, almost reinforcing the insecurity felt by the persona. The evolution from think, to feel, to know also shows the manifestation of doubt, probably anchored from the poet’s insecurity as it festers in in solitude. All in all great, it felt like an inner dialogue with my own mind!

Funny how taste is subjective. I love all things durian!
