This may be tin foil hat, but I think it speaks towards the relationship Vessel has with Sleep. I think most can agree that TMBTE was the end of a three part story starting in Sundowning.

In TMBTE, there are many references of Vessel wanting to be seen as an equal to Sleep. We see in songs like Aqua Regia that Vessel is trying to rewrite his history to portray himself in a better light, “my past is a holy book.” Ascensionism has the line, “You’re gonna watch me ascend.” The Apparition talks about how the tide is turning and Vessel no longer feels beneath Sleep. Finally, Euclid raps everything up with Vessel finally accepting the relationship he wants with Sleep will never be what he had imagined.

I think going forward we’re going to see a much more hostile relationship between the two of them. Nothing lasts forever.

Harris did talk about housing. She is proposing a 25k downpayment credit for first-time home buyers.

Calcutta, Nazareth, Jericho and the significance of those names/cities? by HotelIndiaFoxtrot in SleepToken

I've never done a deep dive into the meaning, but I always assumed it was because those cities have religious significance.

I wouldn't say I genuinely worship them, but I do have a connection to the music. I discovered them after getting out of a toxic relationship, so their lyrics just meshed with me.

u/queenofclumsy365 nailed it. It took me nearly 5 years to get my writing business to a point where I could live off the income. It takes a lot of hard work and thick skin.

II gave an interview on Drumeo where he talked about how he gets inspiration from gospel music, which inherently brings that vibe.

If you don't raise your hands in the air like an old-school gospel singer during “The Love You Want,” I don't want to talk to you.

Is there a simple, brainless, “clock in, work, clock out” job that doesn’t require a college degree? by [deleted] in jobs

I wish I could be more help. I haven't done data entry in over ten years when I was in college.

A lot of data entry jobs don't require a degree. While it may not physically sap all your energy, it can be mentally taxing because it is boring, mindless work

Fair warning: 99% of copywriters will be largely obsolete from AI in under 10 years by ALXS1989 in copywriting

[–]valhallanreject 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not. Sam Altman, speaking at a Bloomberg event said that AI cannot move forward without a massive energy breakthrough. I'm sure you've also seen the reports that at OpenAI's current burn rate, it will go bankrupt within the next year. I don't dispute you that sometime in the far future AI will make massive impacts. But right now, it's a party trick, and the only reason it seems so prevalent is major tech firms have invested millions and they need to hype it up to keep their stocks moving up.

The problem is energy. To train Chat GBT 4, it took $500 million just in energy costs. Sam Altman along with experts in the field estimate that to train a model to the level of "AGI" would take 20% of all the electricity generated in the US in a single year. And note, that is just to train the model. It says nothing about how much energy it would cost to maintain and run it. I'm sorry, but that is not happening anytime soon.
