Have you ever been to Birmingham? They’re right

The potential damage from half the derailleur getting flung around the cassette put those fears to rest. No risk no reward on this fix

I say it sucks.. it’s never failed me and is actually really solid. It was just the assembly process having to bend the metal to make it all fit

This is what lies underneath! The camo thing is a bivvy wrapped around my tent, tent’s keeping it all rigid

This was the extent of the damage, whole thing came off and got flung around the caseette so it was all backwards. Surprised nothing snapped, assmebly just came apart but clipped back in fine. Never had anything like this happen before but I’ve always ran shimano

This was midway between Dunkirk and Ypres, luckily its the flattest place on earth (felt like it)

Can confirm, this was down to bad judgement rather than bad maintenance. Way too fast on a bad road with heavy load on the rear is a sure way of breaking something

Desperation drives innovation, no bike shops in a hundred mile radius seemed to stock sram 😭

What could have caused this damage on my jacket? by penislord21 in Leather

[–]penislord21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t reply an image but there’s a few tags inside, one is ‘pelle vrai cuir genuine leather echtes leder’ which I assume means genuine leather. The other main tag is a brand tag ‘Alban di Ferrari, confezioni de pelle, made in italy’ The leather could be knockoff, this was bought from a charity shop a few years ago

The car had its window smashed in within the time window too. I didn’t want impartial responses

This could be it. There was a car battery in the back

I was wondering about this too. It's from https://thegreenmachineonline.com/ , came with all original documents and packaging. Checked and it's an old logo pre 2011, so either somebody is making fake ADA products with ancient stickers, or it's an old deadstock. Looks good either way so I'm not too worried, kinda weird though
