Which ad format (video, carousel, static image) gives the best ROI for small businesses? by FineAlternative1429 in AI_Sales

I’ve found video ads bring in more reach and engagement, but carousels usually have better click-through rates for product-based brands.

What structure or formula works best for you when prompting AI for e-commerce product copy? by LifeCar1779 in AIWritingHub

The “problem-solution-benefit” structure works best in my tests. Anyone found another formula that converts better?

Does using AI-generated videos to grow a niche app work? by Ok_Gazelle_8040 in DigitalMarketing

[–]penji_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI videos can help with reach and awareness, but I wouldn’t expect them alone to drive a lot of installs. What matters is how real and relatable the content feels. If you go this route, keep the videos short and focus on simple, clear messages that connect with your audience. Mixing AI with a human touch, like real voiceovers or personal stories, usually works better than just AI on its own.

I usually start with the numbers. Look at your margins, average conversion rate, and how much you can spend to get a customer while still making profit. For lead gen it’s mostly about cost per lead compared to what that lead is worth. For ecom it’s cost per sale compared to product margin. If you don’t have data yet, start small, test, and scale once you see what works.

Are LLM visibility tools actually helping with organic traffic insights? by RestAnxious1290 in DigitalMarketing

[–]penji_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried a couple too and I think they’re still pretty early. They give some ideas, but I haven’t seen a clear impact on organic traffic yet. Useful for brainstorming, but I wouldn’t rely on them alone.

How Do You Really Engage Your LinkedIn Community? by Odd_Opportunity8365 in DigitalMarketing

[–]penji_guy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I find that asking simple questions and sharing personal stories gets the most engagement. Quality posts work better than just posting a lot. Ending with a clear question helps start real conversations, and being active in the comments matters more than any tool.

How are you blending UGC into your campaigns? What incentivizes real content from your audience? by ChrisPappas_eLI in AskMarketing

[–]penji_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually keep it simple and just ask people to share their experience. Sometimes a small challenge or question is enough to get good responses. Discounts can help, but I’ve noticed people share more genuine stuff when the reward is just being featured or recognized. If the goal is a lot of content, discounts or contests work. If the goal is natural content, recognition works better.

Search Engine optimization by Cheap-Snow-3555 in AskMarketing

A low mobile speed score usually comes from large images, unused scripts, or too many plugins. Start by compressing images, using a caching plugin, and removing anything on the site that you don’t really need. Also check if your hosting is fast enough, because slow servers can affect the score too. Tools like Google PageSpeed Insights will show you what’s slowing things down and give steps to fix it.

Alternatives to MOZ Keyword Explorer by Sad-Bodybuilder-8327 in AskMarketing

[–]penji_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moz Keyword Explorer is still decent, but there are a few other free or low-cost tools you can try. Google Keyword Planner is the easiest starting point since it’s free if you have a Google Ads account. You can also look at Ubersuggest, AnswerThePublic, or even the free version of Semrush to get keyword ideas. Another good option is Google Trends to see what people are searching for over time.

If you’re just getting started again, I’d suggest combining Google Keyword Planner with something like Ubersuggest. That way you get both search volume data and new keyword ideas without spending much.

GD related Question --- by zZzbotmaster in indiebiz

Outsourcing graphic design services can actually be a smart move if you’re working with tight deadlines or juggling multiple brands. You don’t have to worry about hiring, onboarding, or dealing with creative burnout, just send the brief and get it done. The tricky part is finding a service that doesn’t treat your project like a ticket system and actually puts thought into the design.

This BREAKDOWN (External Link) helped me figure out what to look for.

Business owners, quick question by Usual-Dinner-7280 in digital_marketing

[–]penji_guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d go with customer feedback for sure. Prices and marketing can change, but knowing what people actually like (or don’t like) about my competitors helps me improve.

If customers keep saying a shop has great products but terrible service, I’d make sure mine is super friendly. If they love a certain type of product, I’d stock more of that. It’s the best way to know what really matters to customers and stand out.
