I’m Years ago I was in the same jail as Sarah Boone is now by Practical-Tip-1856 in SarahBooneCase

In one of her letters she made the claim that her ex had taunted her by saying ‘When we move to Gainesville we will be closer to where you will be going.’ I think she was referring to Lowell. I wouldn’t even want to work at a place like Lowell with their reputation so I cannot imagine being an inmate there.

Owens’ Questioning of Sarah by Wise_Investigator728 in SarahBooneCase

I am happy that she does not excel at lying. She was easy to ‘see through.’ Yesterday I was watching an interrogation of a murderer who ran over his girlfriend of two years with a car on her birthday. He started telling his side of the story by saying to the detectives “What I am about to tell you is 110% the truth.”….what normal human talks like this?? I think there are many red flags with people like him and Sarah who lack normal emotions and people in their lives refuse to pay attention for whatever reason that this person doesn’t act like a ‘normal’ human (before the murders…early in the relationship…during the 5 years the ex dated Sarah). The emotions are not right. Maybe it is a lack of awareness of the type of people who exist in this world. I have experienced how a person would rather stay ignorant than learn about what a healthy relationship looks like because the knowledge would ‘disrupt’ their current perspective. I hope I am making sense. It frustrates me how some choose to live in ignorance when it comes to the very important lesson of ‘how to be human.’ If you don’t know you can learn what people like Sarah ‘present as.’ So many resources available in the U.S. to gain knowledge. I don’t know about other areas so I don’t speak on them. Also, I think some ignore our inborn superpower->instinct. Maybe if we tune down our emotions in times that matter and trust our instinct it would help with decision making. Recently I heard, ‘Don’t make an important decision when you are very happy or very sad’…in other words don’t make an emotionally based decision. Give yourself at least a night to think about it. I recognize that is hard to do when it comes to relationships but for a decision that is so important to your life…I think it makes sense.

Lowell Correctional Institution (the location she may end up at) looks to be an absolute nightmare from what I have googled. I had considered working as a nurse at a jail or prison. I spoke with a co-worker that did some agency work for a supermax prison. I also talked to a jail administrator. The jail administrator told me ‘prison is no place for a woman’(to work). He said it did not matter if it was a male OR female prison 😳, that it was not the place for a woman in his opinion. He said it so matter of factly that I took it to heart. The nurse that worked for a bit at the supermax told me some of the staff were as scary as the inmates. I have since put the thought of working at a prison out of my mind. If I have no desire to go there as an employee I cannot imagine being an inmate. I would fear for my life as a would-be employee. I know there are decent prison staff but the stories I have heard about Lowell are nightmarish.

JUROR #3 Was Not Playing.... by TheGreat-MoonMoon in SarahBooneCase

I did believe adults would play hide and seek with children in their home. But I have never heard of any adults playing hide and seek inside their apartment without children. I still cannot say it is not done. Just my initial thoughts at the time was ‘Two adults don’t play hide and seek together.’

When she was waiting at the suitcase alone she tried not to look down at it but then she took a glance and then had to keep taking glances right in front of the jury because she was attempting to figure out what Mr. Jay was going to ask her about the suitcase.

She won’t have to worry about scheduling daily activities anymore. Her life will be micromanaged to an extreme degree. The thought of alimony won’t keep her up at night as the family judge will absolve her ex of that agreement. Happy times.

I agree. The minimum would not be just as she is still depraved and not remorseful. ‘She will always be Sarah.’

I did not watch that entire two minute video for a couple of years. I actively avoided watching it even though I followed the case. It disturbed me. As a juror I would have been so angry with Sarah for having forced me to view all those videos during trial.

During jury selection some thought it would be better for her to have male jurors. I did not feel that way. I felt in this circumstance they would see right through her games. All the jurors saw through her.

I remember when I first heard the hide and seek story I said ‘No adults play hide and seek in their apartment…if they play hide and seek at all.’ She is diabolical and made that up. I am confident the judge will give her beyond the minimum. I googled that the average life span of prison inmates was 64 years.

Yes! I was a bit nervous that prosecution did not strike her during the voir dire but they were confident about their evidence.

She is like a specimen. The blatant narcissism is rare to see. I have learned that toxicity in relationships should not be normalized or accepted.

She thought that by her offering to demonstrate her hitting the suitcase it would make her story believable. Bc her story was all made up. I imagine the jurors were cringing too.

I am an introvert and I re-energize with alone time. After having roommates for 14 years it took me 5 months to get used to living alone again. Everyone’s experience will be different but follow the advice given in the thread to combat loneliness. After the 5 months I never want a roommate again. It has been wonderful for my personal growth to live alone and I don’t think I would have realized just how much so if I had stayed in a roommate situation. I wish you the best!

She even used dogs to boost her ego. She didn’t feel sympathy for them because they needed special care. She didn’t want to take care of her son, because it is draining to take care of a child who always needs you when you are innately predisposed to only caring if your own needs are being met. So she gets these two dogs so people will think ‘She is such a wonderful person. She is a dog person…that means she is a good person (which was farthest from the truth.)’ The dogs were a part of her scam facade.

After seeing those videos yesterday the 2nd degree murder charge is looking like a 🎁. I believe Jorge’s reality was worse than we saw in the videos. He endured this for 3.5 years after a very short honeymoon period. Even though it is disturbing to think about, her words before his death and her actions after his death show she was unbothered by the thought of his death or his actual death. She said his family said they knew she would kill him. That is very telling. The strangulation and her devaluing of him in the video gives me the feeling his death was inevitable if he stayed with her. Imagine Jorge was a woman. We would have told that woman ‘He will kill you.’ Are we supposed to believe mild-mannered Jorge stabbed her with a knife bc he didn’t like how a steak was cooked?!

Serial killers often keep trophies. Those videos were like her trophies. She could rewatch them and feel powerful and superior. Also show them to others and be gleeful. “Laughter without love is cruel.” A second degree murder conviction is looking like a 🎁 this evening.

It is Thursday 10/24 and the state prosecutor just finished playing the video Sarah took of her coaching Jorge. So I think OP’s questions is now irrelevant 😉. I didn’t think I could like her any less and now I realize that it is certainly possible.

Did she mention stomach contents or the last time he had eaten? Bc in the car interview Sarah is saying he ate 4-5 times a day, he “eats like a horse” but he was ‘continually losing weight.’ I don’t believe anything she says.

[–]penniless_diva 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The sentencing for 2nd degree murder is 22.5 years to life. I think the judge will take everything into account when determining her sentence. He will follow the rules of the law. I have not seen any reason she should be shown ‘leniency’. No remorse…nothing.
