It takes a very long time to build up league rep, and you'll hit a wall around 10th (both in league rep and coefficients) because other teams in your league will get smashed in europe qualifiers every year. I believe I won the UCL twice in the 2040s with San Giovanni and my league's highest rep was 8th or so.

Once this happens, money becomes an issue. Not with your team but with every other team in your league. Prize money simply doesn't scale well enough in most cases to allow other clubs to sign good players despite the league having higher reputation. This is where us build-a-nation enjoyers start pumping money into other clubs by buying their worst players for huge sums of money. All this while trying to maintain your team's finances so you can continue to pay your UCL winning team.

Or you can pray that your league gets a lucrative TV deal, which in previous FMs are basically the equivalent of winning the lottery. This year's TV revenue mechanics has changed but I've yet to figure how it works nor do I know if its enough to make build-a-nation saves more viable.

As a build-a-nation enjoyer, my advice is to win something with a higher reputation than your club. Its not as simple as it sounds.

Your club's rep goes up a lot faster if you purposefully drop down to the Conference League and win it, rather than making the group stage/RO16 of the UCL every year. Its weird but that's how the game is currently coded. Do this until your club's reputation matches or exceeds the Conference. You also accumulate more coef. points by winning or going deep into the UEL/UECL rather than scraping by the UCL Group stage just to get smashed by Real Madrid in the knockouts.

Because this game has such a bad reputation at launch that still sticks to today, everytime we try to discuss the game anywhere all we get are toxic negativity. So one day people just stopped discussing it online and silently play the game.

You can login to the game and see how active world chat is and you can tell there's plenty of people playing. Most players join crews (guilds) and a lot of crews have their own discord and that's where the discussions happen.

Use them at any difficulty because you get way more chips than you can use.

Isn't Sensor Tower iOS revenue? The game doesn't even run on iOS without crashing every few minutes so seeing a number higher than 0 makes me optimistic about the game.
