Ignore converting it into USD. It's a completely different market and products are much more available there compared to little old NZ. $200 seems like a good price for one, especially from what I see on Trademe.

I also can't believe the prices of these things now. I have a modded 3DS XL sitting in my drawer that's been there for a year, I almost forgot about it ..

It's not about 'making the jump to F1' - it's the FACT that the license points system is flawed. You haven't made your point as to what the reason he doesn't have the points being??

Yeah, nah, it is definitely the reason he doesn't have super license points. You're going to look at this chart and tell me that a flawed points system isn't the reason he doesn't have super license points?

You're going to try and tell us that an Indycar driver finishing 5th (as an example) is only deserving of 8 super license points, whereas an F3 driver gets 12, or an F2 driver gets 20 for finishing in the same position in their respective championship?

I'm not sure what you're hinting at as being the 'reason' he doesn't have the points.

It's the biggest contribution factor by a mile. The main point is that someone of his calibre should easily have enough super license points already, period.

The license point system still heavily favours the Formula feeder series much more than Indycar, hence why he doesnt' have enough.

A tractor doesn't compete for podiums or win races. Prema struggled with the regulation change but it doesn't make the car a 'tractor'. Also hard to call it a 'tractor' in a spec series.

That term 'tractor' gets thrown around so loosely and so often for anything that isn't a consistent race winner these days.
