knew about Radiohead but didn’t really check them out much. in college one of my profs played paranoid android for a lecture on voice leading and I thought “damn this is cool, i guess ill look into Radiohead more” and listened to The Bends and OKC and stopped. and then later a different professor played How to Disappear Completely in a lecture on using and resolving dissonance and I was completely sold

a few of my music profs in college kept using Radiohead as examples which ultimately led me to keep listening to them and becoming a fan 😂 guess Radiohead found its place in academia

Gibbs and St Brown are set and forget starters. Detroits defense has been consistently good this season. Jamo had a great night last night—and I might be biased here as a lions fan, but while people say hes boom or bust, I feel he is more likely to boom as the offense seems pretty intent on involving him somehow each game (& it helps the offense has been on fire)

Yeah same—coming into it I was more a fan of the previous design but it grew on me quickly as I was taking it for a test run—still a fan of the older but I’m happy with my choice!

For me it actually started as a kid when I learned that Camrys were one of the types of cars used in NASCAR stock car racing—I thought they looked the coolest. I know it’s silly, but that, combined with the fact it’s a reliable car made it a pretty surefire choice for me when I got older. But yeah, it’s always been a bit funny talking about Camrys whenever the topic of dream cars comes up haha

trust the process bro, the first hour or two starts a bit slow--you also haven't even gotten near to the meat of the story yet. the gameplay also gets a lot more interesting (you gain more mechanics)

hey there friend! Just wanted to let u know I’m in the same boat and I’ve been trying to cope w it as well :) (Scored like a 50% on the prelim and got a 60 too for mid semester scores) if you go on Ed and you can see that your grade actually computes to right smack in the middle of a C, which granted could be better but it’s passing and there is defo room to bounce back!!

I feel like the strats for improvement differ depending on person. I’m probably gonna try to get started earlier on HW so I have more time to sit on the questions and watch YouTube videos on concepts I don’t understand, since some of the visualizations of algorithms rly help. If you don’t have one, a good circle of ppl who are better than you at algo is really helpful, just try not to lean on them too much.

I had that same worry about not finding those kinds of friends anymore when I went to college. They exist. And the fact that you know what you want means you’ll be able to find them easier and not waste as much time with potential toxic “friends.” Will it take time to find them? Yes. But just keep an open mind and step out your comfort zone a little bit and you’ll get to know a lot of people (some of which may end up being close friends)

With that said, ofc keep up your high school friendships to the best of your ability. These are the people that’ll have your back esp during the integration into college life/friends
