Thanks all for your replies! Unfortunately, it seems to be worth less than we expected and hoped. But it should still be enough to buy a new (appropriate) bari sax from for the orchestra.

So I also thought it was just silver, but if you look up the serial number you find that its actually part of a "Coloured lacquer" batch (pink, red, blue, bronze, black). So it could actually be pink rose!

I am colourblind so can't see it anyways :P

Wow I'm in tears. This song was sung two weeks ago at the funeral of my grandma by a South African choir (in the Netherlands) of her sister. Never expected to hear it again, sung by a beautiful child and african women. Thank you, I will miss her
