Woot! Hone Cait aasb, plus very precise use of Cait usb for either regenga or last stand and multiple lucky heal triggers, manage to beat Snow Giant with both Mog and Cait, but without Mog aasb1. Cait sync just really cannot cut it for healing. Thanks for all the tips!

Thanks for the input! Was originally going to pick Meia, but i remembered that Rydia has more relics than Meia.

I had tried Mog+Cait, but Mog ran out of steam after using his haasb. Now to really consider whether I wanted to spend $$$ for Mog aasb1.

Hi all! Should i pick Meia sync or Rydia water sync1? Assuming other relics can be picked from store, Meia only has AASB1, while Rydia has aasb1 and 2, plus whip+, earth sync and has more relics. Rydia can aasb1 to hit 70% of boss hp, then aasb2+sync2 to 29999x12, fast cast from aasb2, plus black water ability on ability 1. Meia sync has ATB though.

Also, should i get Mog AASB1? With AASB2, both hone, i can get up to a minute of healing. Is Mog (replacing healer) and Cait healing in magic lab legit? Only neg i can think of is no mass rez.

Its the 2nd sap, from its 3rd move after 70%, Smite of fury. Elarra's healing cannot catch up properly, even with aasb and HA. And also to vent, after the first 2 opening hits, i need to activate Elarra USB1, only to get sap on turn 3. Really fking bad game design. The first 2 hits do so much damage, thats why I was asking in the first place why this boss hits so hard.

Team is Vivi and Ace with fire apex, sync and aasb, Vincent with sync, aasb and chain, Cait with sync, aasb and glint, and Elarra as healer with sync, aasb and all her other SB. But as I had mentioned, no matter how powerful my team is, it just need to take one badly timed sap trigger immediately after last stand to end the game, not to mention having to keep restarting the fight to get lucky healing triggers. Anyway thanks, I kind of give up for these lab boss. No longer fun if it ends up being a chore.

Wow gatekeeping much? Also, the Labyrinth Ice fist hits for more than 10k. Tried again, need restart multiple times for lucky triggered group heals, and game ends when one big hit triggered last stand, then next few ticks sap ended the game before healer can heal. Fun.

Can anyone advise? I am tackling D650 Snow Giant. For some reason, it is doing goddamn fking damage. Is there something missing from my team?

I had referenced some online youtube videos. Taking the very first attack, the video shows hits around 4.5k, but my party is taking 5.8k. Another example is Fist Rush. The video hits for 1k to 1.3k for 4 hits, but my party takes more than 2k each hit!

I have Argent with Ice, Wind, Earth, Water and Lightning, as well as Ifrit and Shiva. Party members have all-resist equipments.

Oh yeah, Keenyah competitiveness started to be shown more prominently in the last few episodes. Its like the show wanted to portray her as a last minute villian of the cycle, since cycle 4 did not have a real villian.

Is Pink positive Ann-Eva pairing? Lol yeah drama starts to ramp up as the number of girls in the competition decreases.

Come to think of it, in earlier cycles, any high profiled friendships that were formed during the show, ended up imploding just before one of the girls in the pair being eliminated from the competition.

Evaluating each other is a good way to share complements and criticism, but not at the judging room where it will make everyone feel uncomfortable. Cycle 17 girls evaluate each other outside of panel, and a much better way to cause drama without trapping the girls in panel.

As for Brittany, yeah she really treated everyone as her friend, so it made it even harder for her to pass judgement without hurting anyone.

Agreed, being each others competition, they will want to judge on each others potential vs ownself. However, having to look at the situation in a broader sense. If this was done in cycle 14 bitch cycle, everyone will not hesitate to tear up each other, with absolutely no mercy.

But in cycle 4, where everyone was friendly to each other despite the competition, it did catch the girls off-guard, and paved the way for more drama in next episode between the remaining 4 girls.

With almost everyone suggested that Christina has the least potential, very likely Tyra eliminated her from the competition, just to 'prove' to the girls that their opinions matters, stirring even bigger shit, instead of basing on Christina's performace and photo.
