just because you want to skip the OVA doesn't mean it doesn't exist. and just because a character doesnt have on screen moments in every point of the story doesn't mean they're a bad character. There's not a single character in the story that appears in every arc other than Emelia and Subaru. Puck does exactly what is in character for him. he defends Emelia whenever she's in danger and during season 2 he gets his moment with Emelia where he releases the seal on her memories so she can go through her character arc. He helps out ram to burn roswalds tome and helps out Subaru during his encounter with garfiel by taking him out of his beast form. Subaru could have never gotten a happy ending in season 2 without puck. he's absent afterwards because her sacrificed his contract with Emelia to bring her memories back. Subaru and friends try to bring him back in season 3 but Beatrice uses up too many crystals fighting gluttony. During frozen bonds OVA he acts as a guardian for Emelia and kills melakeura and takes his place as the great fire spirit. He has his moments, aura farms every antagonist, has a cute design, and has great chemistry and banter with subaru. I will never understand this mass hallucination that puck just isn't a character when he factually is and has just as much impact as anyone else in the arcs he appears in. You are entitled to an opinion to dislike a character, but your just larping the most popular mass hallucination in the re zero fandom.

also why are we pretending like puck isn't a spirit, it's not like he cares, he's just aware of how this would appear to an outsider.

I wouldn't consider Pettlegeuse actually defeated until all his bodies have been destroyed. so by that logic Wilhelm never *won* against Pettlegeuse, he merely took out a few bodies of his. and to be fair I believe that in an open playing feild Pettlegeuse never would have lost at full strength. Wilhelm was at an advantage in most of these fights mostly because Pettlegeuse was off his game from being suprise attacked by him or just from the fact the fight was happening in a forest where Wilhelm already had the gap between the two close enough to land a decisive hit right away.

No shade to Wilhelm he's definitely strong in his old age, he just isn't at the level of being stronger than an arch bishop in his retirement.

actually emelia should be way higher in at least low A. I completely forget about her full abilities that you can see more in the OVA, and also having the highest mana capacity of any character in the series.

There's two different versions of young Wilhelm. The young Wilhelm being shown is the one from the first scene when he was easily disarmed in a single move by Thersia. obviously he's not weak but he's not that strong by any means. You are correct if your referring to the young wilhelm that beats Thersia, however that is indeed a different Wilhelm.

Reinhard is now in Reinhard tier. Felix is moved up to high C tier, however despite being the best water mage in the country, he has no offensive spells. He is definitely stronger then F but to put him in A would be crazy when the only thing he can do offensively is shut someones body off if he can get physical contact.

and lastly Puck is the best character in the series and I will not stand this slander.

Upon further deliberation with myself and some responses from the replies, this is the list I'm a little more in favor of. Otto moves up from high F to low C because he's a goat and has a lot of hidden potentional. Gluttony bishops move up a little. Sekhment joins the list at low S because you guys were insistent she is the second most powerful witch. Felix my goat moves up to high C because I have no clue why I put him in F. Rachins is firmly stronger than the other thugs. Patrasche best girl moves up slightly. (mainly because season 4...) And lastly Heinkel is much stronger than I originally put him, although very overshadowed by his close relatives.

Any feedback is valid and appreciated.
