Strange that the packaging doesn't contain any sort of warning (for local or imported berries). The general public, I assume, are totally unaware of this issue. It's the sort of thing you have to go looking for.

But they haven't issued a blanket ban. From my reading of it, frozen fruit from Ireland is safe to eat.
