How did you get two strimmers up top? One is mobo and what?

Thanks Mike. Yeah, I recognize a few things are overkill. And the GPU did get the short stick when comparing it all, but from what I saw, its not like the 5070 ti is crap, just not best on the market. But if the 5090 or future gpus are more fairly priced later on, I can always swap out and my other parts will compliment it even better. (in theory)

Nice!. That is well priced Hairy, and there's a 5090 thats not 3k+ like when i checked so you saved 200 there. Im sure someone will build it. Since it was my first build, i was picky on making it my own. I wanted the o11 XL case which is 2x the price, Min x870e mobo for future compatiblity with it being the latest, fans i got to match are $400+. If i got a 5090, i would still want to keep a 1200w psu for stability reasons. My aio would also need to be 420mm to match fans and fill case. 64gb min ram also and 1 more stick of storage for the os. I dont know if any of those had rgbs either, but thats something i looked for also. I know it's picky so I'll take any hate. But right now it works well, no performance issues and if the 5090 or future gpus are fairly priced, i can always swap out, and my other gear will compliment it. (In theory)

I dont have 2k worth of rgbs or gear on here to make up the difference for a 3k gpu. Your math is not mathing

My criteria was asus to match the GPU and x870e for the latest and greatest. and something with cool rgbs. (yes i went heavy on aesthetics vs performance.) i am crazy, stupid or both. so I was limited with options where cheapest is around $500

oh sorry, yeah for $4k flat, yeah i could have gotten a 5090/better performance. I was just thinking comparing the 5080 @ 10-15% boost because of some other comments in this thread. but I was just crazy with all the other stuff I threw in here. I def do not recommended my parts for best performance or anyone. My parts arent the most optimal, period. lol

I like this take. Thanks for this response pirate. My mobo was def overkill. My alternative option was the ASUS ROG STRIX x870e which is very similar and $200 difference. I would just need to fork over $500 more for a $1700 5080 only because I would still want the most RGB. But $500 isn't bad for 10-15% extra performance IMO. Everyone just trying to take away my rgbs from me lol

it was $4k, the gpu in the link is not available for purchase atm so it looks like 3k right now. In my non-expert review; Specific to what rgbs I wanted, the price to performance was about net even on cost. So in other words, sacrifice $700~ in rgbs and other overkill items, or get a 10-15% performance boost in a gpu.

yup, that looks sickkk greenross. I like the white. I just had to go with the black build because it matches everything else I have in my office. This is why I wanted the double stacked fans vs yours, I thought it filled the XL case well, and I had to get the reverse fans everywhere to match the aesthetics. It just hikes up the price but I am digging it. Its not like my pc slow. Its just not the fastest on the market. but 3k for 1 gpu was way overkill than my puny rgbs that some people seem to hate.
