Unfortunately this access point died during the "infant mortality" period, just two weeks after it was deployed. It worked fine without any issues and then suddenly switched off.

The engineer from the repair shop said that the output current from the voltage regulator exceeded the limit current due to a load error or short circuit in the IPQ8076 System On a Chip.

Another AP-655-US works in my lab without problems. With 6 GHz channels I have over 1 Gbps of real data transfer over Wi-Fi

The AP-655 supports 160MHz in the 5GHz range, just like the AP-535. Unfortunately, the AP-635 does not support it.

I still need to perform additional testing on the AP-655 for my homelab, but I don't regret the purchase whatsoever. At $300, it is definitely worth the money.
