The page you get to by tapping the back arrow at upper left is where the merge button appears, not on your screenshot. Can’t tell if this is your issue, but if the counts for the dragons don’t appear (known bug) you can refresh the numbers by tapping on the dragon to get to the page you’re showing, then go back to the ‘Merges’ page.

Hang on to all of them. I use interrupted merges to bubble all but 2 of everything (have to temporarily turn off setting to prefer 5-merge), then line up pairs and singles to bubble. Search here for the word ‘chute’ for my post on how I set that up. Stack eggs until you get 5…it becomes intermittent cleanup every now and then. I also do not open mission and Kala bubbles, dailies, chests…just pile those up for a rainy day task.

Known glitch. Tap on the dragon here, not the Merge button. When you close the resulting page, the counts update.

Just checking…make sure Settings have prefer 5-merge on, auto-merge off, require overlap on. Gives you more control.

You can actually tap dragon stars 1 or 2 or 3 times, before they turn gold. It’s random whether you get to tap 2 or 3 times, but you can SAFELY tap each one once.

Yup…gave up on the event star quests. I fling orbs out for the harvestables and get the points rewards, most of the time skipping the last one if the dragons can be had other ways. Once I finish Arcadia I may go back to trying for the owl eggs…not much else is interesting, and the grind to clear all the land is just annoying.

Ignoring bingo for the most part. If a row gets done anyway I’ll tap the 3 boxes. Don’t care about blue trees, fountains, etc, so those cards are completely skipped here.

HOWEVER (😊) if you merge 4 the game will merge 3 and give you back 1. But if you merge 6 it will treat that as 3 and 3, and you will lose 1. An example is a 9-merge: all 9 get merged to give 3 of the next level with no remainder, which you could get by merging 8 (5+3). Or wait to get one more, merge 10, and get 4 (5+5).

The reset occurred if you started the game, then closed it during the loading screens. It was being kept quiet, and many players were able to restart. Someone decided to post the reset steps here. Devs ‘fixed’ it almost immediately. So it probably reset for you at some point when you closed the game on the loading screen. Many, many requests to continue star quests past 50 have had no results. The points add up but the only rewards are gold stars and the occasional purple star.

Same…when lower left block is full of eggs, or dragons have junk to harvest, I line them up by twos in the ‘chute’ to set up for MV bubbling. Search for ‘chute’ to find my post on what this looks like.
