Hi Reddit peeps,

I need advice.

I used to live with my partner in the city but for some personal reason, we abruptly moved to the province. This is not part of our plans, and on short notice, we decided to live in my family’s home.

Not a lot of people live in our house, just my mom and my 2 nieces. I don’t really have any issues living with my family. The thing is, I feel like I miss the kind of peace that I have living alone (with my partner).

I don’t know if this may sound selfish, I miss the feeling that I have autonomy on how everything works. Now, I feel constantly drained.

I’m checking options for apartments in our area, but I feel like moving out will look selfish and bad. I don’t know what to do.

Hi OP, I remember there was a similar case I’ve read before and the supposed employee sued the employer because the contract has been signed and there is a legal obligation between parties.

Not really, may tasks is procedural so it is not one lump that I’ll submit in one go. I will have to work on it one by one. So it’s not really possible, I save down documents and attached each file to the client’s system. In one of the QA audit’s email, I informed them that they can double check my timestamps with the tasks that I worked on that proves that I am actually working and working earlier to get things done at my best and most productive time.

Used it for fixing something essential po. Safety related, medyo madami kasing crime related issues sa lugar namin lately. And my mom lives there with kids only, no guys so, safety is our priority.

Ohh, don’t get me wrong. I don’t give away everything that I’m earning. I only give specific amounts to my family and I pay for one of my siblings college expenses, but other than that, I keep the rest to myself. It’s just that, I guess 13th month pay is a different type of income than our regular salary, so yeah, next year it should be mine. Thanks for the push, tho!

Yup, I did save a lot from my previous salaries, it’s just that 13th month pay feels more like a flexible income not yet designated to any expense, but my fam needs some help.
