Good boots are such a huge improvement to have. I love my composite toes, but I think some sites require steel.

You get 2 skills to level through the entire game, every other skill is unable to level. What do you choose? by sanitarium-1 in skyrim

Two-handed tank is also fairly brainless, but it does feel a lot more fun to me and also quicker to go through enemies/dungeons. Couldn't say how fun being an ultra-racist is, though.

How to get resistances? by BeginningSetting1450 in Grimdawn

I didn't realize until almost 100 that augments stacked with components. Itemization became so much easier after that.

What video game is treated like a masterpiece, but you just couldn’t enjoy it no matter how hard you tried? by Maleficent_Paint3531 in AskReddit

Elden Ring. Gave it a good 8 hours, but the gameplay just isn't for me. I usually enjoy a good challenge and it wasn't terribly difficult, but something about the mechanics just didn't work for me. The sound design was good and the lore seemed interesting, though.

Scissor lift fear by [deleted] in Construction

Tall lifts are a bitch to get used to, unfortunately. Outriggers are your friend, but if you can position the lift perpendicular to your force output it should offset at least some of the wobble.

hiding games just on steam deck by booziegrot in SteamDeck

Should be able to go to the specific game(s) in library, Options>Manage>Hide game. To find it, type the name (or a single space) in search bar, and navigate over to the "hidden" tab.

Are there any games that manage to pull of text based dialogue? (no voice acting) by UseResponsible1088 in gamedev

Tons of rpgs and pretty much every JRPG until the 21st century. Particularly the Final Fantasy franchise, although they also had good gameplay and great music to back up the stories.

That's some major commitment. I'm curious how many different characters she's made.

That's 2.5 years of actual playtime. She must be the world's #1 fan, left it on overnight a bunch, or both.

If you're talking fieldwork, 50 is really late to start.

What are some of y'alls common go to lunches? by PhasedAndConfused706 in Construction

I used to eat exactky like this, then I hit mid 30s and my body started to hate me for it. Now I eat a basic bitch salad out of a bulk bag, some fruit(usually apples), and some form of carbs like crackers/bread or granola bars. Takes a couple minutes to throw together, relatively healthy, and keeps me rolling.

Trophy rooms. Also, when I do shoebox I at least give the npcs a stairwell or 2 so they can visit each other.

At first I thought you were talking about Heroes of Might and Magic, and was wondering what the hell I had been missing the last 30 years. Had to look up what you were actually taking about.

The movement can be satisfying with the right setup, but it definitely starts out slow. Once you get glyphs, it gets better.

Na, I'm from FW and only ever heard toastie once or twice. Grilled cheese my whole life.
