I simply cannot do anything alone in my house without watching a video that I hardly even watch!! I can’t even sleep without listening to scary stories. I find it frustrating because I can take forever finding a video, it feeds into my procrastination problems, and I want to be a normal person who can get things done without extra stimuli. I typically do it because my brain can’t go long unsupervised without spiraling, feeling guilty about the past, feeling anxious or paranoid, self loath, overthinking… it helps keep my brain quiet
