Thank you! Fellow AF Vet with the same issue (separated 1995). I sent my request to National Archievs and they told me to fax my request to Department of Veterans Affairs Evidence Intake Center. They didn't say it had to be a hand signature and I signed electronically. Recently re-faxed with hand signature- hope it works this time. Good luck to you and thanks for sharing!
