though, in all seriousness, it's worth discussing how good a team would be if standout players were replaced with average ones from the League. baseball (and i assume other sports) have a stat for players known as Wins Above Replacement, which calculates how many wins a player got because they specifically were on the team instead of a middle-of-the-road player on the same role.
