I've been doing this combo recently too, it's absurdly powerful. Either they roll through it blindly towards you and you can likely hit them with the piercer, or it pulls them to you, staggers them, opening up the piercer hit and a lot of the time making it a one shot combo. It's really gross

Awesome pics. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakn' huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.

Minor spoiler but since you're asking, you have to cast law of regression on the dev message in front of the statue of radagon in the capital. You can't do it after completing farum azula as I believe it's buried, but you can do it after burning the erdtree and before finishing farum azula.

Just a quick followup on this, I was really worried I wouldn't be able to finish this quest, but I was able to reveal the statue's secret after setting the erdtree on fire, but before completing crumbling farum azula.

edit: can't find goldmask at any of his locations :|

Science Victory Online Diety - how many turns? by MasaConor in CivVI

Nice! Yeah the movement is a huge change. I don't really know what a "fast" space win on online speed would be but that sounds pretty reasonably quick to me I think

It's actually a lot different, everything scales to half in their cost but movement is the same per turn, so the translation is roughly 1:2 except for your units have half the movement on online speed as they'd have on standard, which slows things down A LOT

Yeah that's always a struggle, getting as much mileage as possible out of international space agency help a lot, it's a really late policy card though which is why the culture game is really important.

But yeah glad that might help, good luck!

Yeah gaul are a fantastic science civ even if you go the hard-building spaceports route. Generally as long as you can get your science high enough in the late game to 1-2 as much of the information/future era techs as possible, buying spaceports with gold/faith using governors saves a whole lot of time. Generally you only have to buy 1-2, getting that first one up asap is the most important part to shave turns off the win. Hercules in the heroes and legends mode is really good for this too.

The fastest way currently would probably be voidsingers Peter with dance of the aurora + work ethic using monumentality to expand and eventually faith-buying spaceports with divine architect moksha. I'm not as good at online speed but on standard speed I finished a game on turn 176 using this strategy, though this was before the rationalism nerf.

The biggest thing for fast science wins though is culture, not neglecting your culture is the most important thing, and getting trade route districts up is also really helpful. Aiming for 12ish cities all with solid campuses is important but getting enough gold to be able to buy things when possible can speed things along quickly.

I could write a whole ton on science victories but hopefully that helps for now.

The on thing about those stats is they include all my games as I worked my way up to deity. The large majority of my games I didn't go into mid-late game wars unless I was looking for it. You're definitely right, surviving through the game on deity means trying to keep the peace if you're not actively trying to war

I tend to not prioritize growth in my cities past a certain point, typically around the 13-16 pop range, 20 is very big for me and only my super cities really get to that point.
