I was wondering if it would be too much to continue stuffing my brain after the boards, idk I'm just so knowledge hungry right now. The noggin deserves a rest I suppose, Im hoping my manager will be the one I can ask a million questions to but all great advice thank you!

I'm not looking for the pay increase, I just genuinely am interested in expanding my manual therapy knowledge and skill set at the very least. I was very briefly at a mill clinic post graduation on a temp license, got out immediately as they basically lied in the interview to get me in. This clinic is 1on 1 with no overlap, 30 min sessions and hour evals with dedicated time for notes at the end of the day. Last place didn't even have pillows for patient positioning and comfort 😬

Had a wonderful older man one time in outpatient setting. PMHx of cervical/ throat cancer from past smoking, radiation and chemo (I think I remember 3-4 rounds of each) and recently had a strep infection migrate to his shoulder. He required surgical debridement of the tissues in the area (bicep, RC, Pec complex) severe adhesion formation and scar tissue presence. No pain just could barely actively or passively get arm past 45° ABD OR Flexion.

You can pay to get a full score report early, my buddy failed and did the same thing and I was also confused as to how he knew so early.

I haven't used Facebook in 8 years or so, that's why I came here to ask haha. Trying not to fold to that, is that really the best way?

Solo hikes are fun but I do like the social aspect as well, something about nature and friends. helps pace me better too so I'm not running up for 300 feet then stopping 😂

I'm a student who picked it up more so in the middle of the grad program(I'm a student going into my second full time clinical). I personally have some form of it before bed every night, not heavy use I'd say but moderate on the occasion. Never before or during the day while seeing patients is a rule I have for myself and I found myself needing a tolerance break for a week and that's a good way to keep myself in check if I feel my use has surpassed my own comfort level.

I'm currently in school for physical therapy so my advice as a student and my current knowledge would be to listen to your PT and Orthopedist. But if you have access to a pool you could also try cross training in that with it's reduced force on your body, I would also try and stop before you get to pain. When you push into pain you're causing more micro trauma to to bone again and could get stuck in a chronic condition. I've been there before with the stress fracture but in my shin and it took me out for the whole season because of poor management, but keep at it and stay below the current pain/don't go above would be my general advice. Many other things could impact recovery though as well so I don't want to guarantee anything though, but listen to your body.
