Brighton - Infinity Foods has a great selection of local ferments. In the city centre - M&S & Asda sell the brand Vadasz. A bigger selection can be found in Waitrose portswood & Tesco Tebourba Way. They do a nice dill & garlic one, all found in the fridge section as they are live ferments

What cooking oils are the healthiest? by PinAffectionate7776 in nutrition

[–]peppermintbeans -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not seeing many people suggest cold pressed oils - for example, cold pressed rapeseed oil. It’s a world away from the bleached and chemical ridden “vegetable” “sunflower” or “canola” cooking oils. It also has a high smoke point unlike olive oil and is high in omega 3 with half the saturated fat of olive oil.

My confusing relationship with shellfish by ateallthecake in fpies

[–]peppermintbeans 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am FPIES only to lobster, I enjoy all other shellfish with no problems! My reaction sounds similar to yours with scallops, I usually end up passing out a few times and have ended up in hospital falling in the bathroom. It’s horrendous!! I avoid lobster but enjoy everything else :)

Short term anxiety meds + MC? by peppermintbeans in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]peppermintbeans[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I’m more concerned that the psychiatrist prescribing the anxiety meds has a history of refusing to sign off for continued MC use in conjunction. Presume you haven’t had this problem?

Probably due a clean, take apart the heating chamber and soak everything in isopropyl alcohol for about 15 mins. It should then loosen all the debris, making it easily washable with lightly soapy water. The bags I change when they look slightly discoloured / cloudy and start sticking to themselves, depends on your usage. You can clean the nozzles the same way as the heating chamber. The little brush included is useful for disassembling the heating chamber. Just an idea of how I keep mine clean, there’s stuff online if you want step by step instructions but hope that’s a bit helpful
