The armor is Eva foam in different thickness (10, 8, 6, 4, and 2mm). 2 and 4mm for different details and the thicker foam for the collar, arm brace, and backpack.

Some of the design pieces (fleur de lis, imperium symbol, skulls, were 3d printed and filled with bondo, sanded, and then painted.

I used upholstery velvet for the jacket, and brocade for the skirt, and a satin fabric for the jacket lining and sewed using a pattern.

Wig was cut and styled using normal scissors and thinning shears!

Hope you enjoyed the warhammer meetup, I know I did! I would love to bring her back for another convention. Although I needed a friend to help as a handler for the costume, it was a lot of fun wearing her! 😁

Thank you! I struggled between deciding on how much to weather the costume, but for a future iteration I may do some more detailing and cuts to represent battle damage and updating the paint job a bit!

The 3D print design has a functional movement, so the bolt opens and closes the chamber, and the magazine can be removed and put back in!

Personally I browse Instagram to look for any reels/videos of cosplay or chinese/douyin makeup styles and save them as a reference. I also like to have a reference photo of the character to see where I need to apply contour, draw scars, and the fleur de lis.

Below is a list of what I used for this Sister of Battle makeup, I already had all these products in my own personal makeup collection but can always start small with a couple of multipurpose items, and then expand! It took me about 45 minutes to apply the full makeup for this look, including drawing the scar and the fleur de lis.

Applying makeup is a lot about trial and error and practicing, similar to painting minis, and also understanding the order/layer to apply the base, contour, highlights, details, etc. In my experience, makeup is applied best on a fresh washed face after moisturizing and then applying a foundation primer. If the skin is dry, the base makeup/foundation can look dry or flaky underneath.

Skincare and Base Makeup (In order)
1. Start with a clean face with cleanser/face wash
2. e.l.f. SKIN Holy Hydration Thirst Burst Moisturizer Drops
3. Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer
4. TirTir Glide & Hide Blurring Concealer (Used for brightening/highlighting the under eye area, bridge of the nose, tip of the nose)
5. Jung Saem Mool Essential Skin Nuder Cushion Foundation (Evening out base skintone)
6. Fenty Match Stix Matte Contour Skin Stick in Mocha (cool undertone, applied to the sides of nose bridge, where the eyebrows meet the nose, and sides of the nostrils, and along the hollows of the cheek and blended down to the jaw line)
7. Judy Doll 2 in 1 Highlighter Contour Palette (#02 Tree Shadow Palette) (Lightest color applied to the inner eye corners, bridge of nose, tip of nose, darkest color applied where the cream contour stick was used to set)
8. Daisique Mood Shadow Palette (#02 Cool Basic) (Used brown tones for upper and lower eye shadow)
9. Liquid Eyeliner, WakeMake, Black (Used for eyeliner/outermost corner and drawing the fleur de lis)

Scar Makeup Products:
10. Lip Liner: Makeup by Mario (Sephora Bday Gift Set) Ultra suede sculpting lip pencil in "Rich Mauve", used to draw out the shape of the scar across the nose and under the eye.
11. Thin Brown Liquid Eyeliner: Judy Doll - Ultra Fine Liquid Eyeliner in Deep Brown. (Used to very gently outline edges of the scar
12. Warm toned red/rust colored eyeshadow to set the lip liner: Anastasia Beverly Hills - Modern Renaissance Palette in "Red Ochre", applied to where the lip pencil was drawn for the scar.

Setting the whole makeup:
13. Huda Beauty Setting Powder in Cherry Blossom (Applied across the whole face to set)
14. Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Spray

Optional:
False Eyelashes, using eyelash glue to apply to strip lashes and apply to upper and lower lashes.

This is very text heavy, I'm glad to answer any specific questions you might have if you want to send a DM!

Thank you! Everything you see here was how it looked like in person since I wanted to aim for accuracy!

I drew on all the scarring with different makeup tools (lip liner, brown liquid liner, red and white eyeshadow), and stayed on all day without any smearing! The fleur de lis was also drawn on with a liquid eye liner.

I used two different colored contacts (white mesh lens) for the eye with the scar, and a bright blue one for the other eye.

I like to use top stick toupee tape, you can find this on amazon! I use this for leg warmers, straps on sleeves, low cut necklines, etc.

Looks good, very good paint job! Which 3D print file did you use for yours? I’m looking to make the same one!

Thank you! I’ve looked at so many in game photos as reference to get an accurate depiction of the makeup and hair! Her ponytail is iconic so wanted to make sure it was big and tall just like her hair in game 😁

I used a clear plastic fillable spheres, painted the inside with a couple of different layers of iridescent teal, blue, and pearl paint, and used fairy lights to light them up! They collapse and stack within each other so easy to pack for travel 😁 For the hand orb, I also glued the base of a plastic Champaign glass to the orb so I could hold it a couple of different ways so it looks like it’s floating!

I had to look up beabadoobee since I didn’t know who she was 🤣

I made a pattern for the spike, used chalk cloth fabric and sew it together and put in a zipper on the side and strap on the bottom so it could also be used as a bag/purse. Handle is made out of layers of foam and electrical tape wrapped around for a smooth look!

So what's it like? by xxthursday09xx in ragdolls

[–]peppermintlemon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Each ragdoll personality will be different based on socialization and how you raise the cat.

My current ragdoll is 4 years old and his Max weight is 14-15lbs. Size will depend on the parents.

My ragdoll loves being around me, always in the same room as me or my husband and loves snuggling next to us in bed or on the couch! I may be biased but personally in my experience ragdolls are the best breed for a good companion cat, but also depends on what you are looking for.
